1.How does this thermostat system work?

It has two control knobs: one is to control the temperature, which can have different temperature levels regulation; One is a timer, which can have a countdown setting mode of 2, 4, 6, 8 hours and one constant turn on mode. If time is up, the system will stop heating, if it’s in the constant turn on mode, the system will continue heating according to the temperature regulation level.
2.Does this product only provide hidden installation option?
